OcUK Custom 'Ultima Demolisher' [Build Progress and Worklog]

Would have liked to see either barbs or compressions used throughout rather than a combination of the two but the EK barbs do look nice against the nickel block. Maybe the customer requested the combo?

With kit this high end I'd use compressions throughout, EK barbs have a tendency to work loose in my experience.

there was a few unavoidable angles needed to be used in the system.

problem is we only have bitspower rotaries which ek barbs dont screw into properly. [and leak]

ive never had 7/16 work loose from an ek barb [obviously prefer the dtek hosetail over the ek design]

That is a fantastic build. That is all on one loop isn’t it? What temperatures are you getting from the 580s and the CPUs?

What's the order/routing you have on that ? is it.....

RES > PUMP > 360 RAD > CPU1 > CPU2 > 120 RAD > GPU1 > GPU2 > RES ?

Interesting to see you go for the IBIS drive, and not a REVO

That must have cost an absolute fortune.

Well built, tidy, powerful, neat and subtle from the outside. Probably exactly how I'd build it, love it!

I don't know how it could be any better, honestly.

Wonder what the depreciation rate over the course of a year is on that beast. :D

You've hit on a good point there. I reckon that depreciation rate increases exponentially with cost of pc. Also, the top end stuff seems to be the first thing to become obsolete. I bought a gtx 480 and just over a month later the 580 comes out. Whereas people who have a 460 don't have a refresh just yet :p

lovely looking system there but i think it would be outa my league on £££££ exellent work ....DREAMS OF WATERS...lol

These dual cpu boards, how do you overclock them? Are the cpu's both clocked together and the worst clocking one is the best you get on both or are they individually clockable? Just curious.

they both clock at the same time using the same bclk and ratio

cool thing is, if one cpu is a duffer then you can choose to put more vcore through one if required.

frequencies are linked but voltages are seperated
