OcUK Diablo 3, RoS Clan

yup the original clan <OcUK> Overclockers social is the <OS> tag, and i believe they made a community rather than a clan due to the member limit on clans

Once the purge has been completed in the next couple of weeks we can re-open the spaces so that new regular members and players can join the clan.

On a personal side of things I believe anyone in the ocuk clan should be at least a forum member, opening clan spots up to non forum users stops actual ocukers being member of their own clan, however that didnt seem too popular last night :D

Nah, it's a clan afaik since no one thought the cap would be an issue if a forum account was required to join :).

There's a community too I think, but that's seperate to OS.

i was going to put us back in the Looking for members thing as we would have more members than just OcUK forum members, there will be space for forum members because we can stop the invites at say like 120 members or so. and leave room for them

I will also vouch for another guy in the clan, hes not active on these forums though.

I'm not being funny but surely the whole idea of an Overclockers clan is only for members of these forums. (If I have interpreted this incorrectly appleoogies!)

I can understand members who have friends that play would want them to be in the same clan but surely not at the expense of 'us' actual members ?

My point exactly and the argument ive been making. However this isnt the thread for this discussion as overkill asked lets keep this on topic please guys
 
yes we could make it only OcUK forum members but for eg. lets say we have 20 members all different paragon levels and some of us want to do rifts t3 and there arnt enough people as they are doing rifts on t1 or leveling characters etc. that would mean that most of us will be doing public games, would it not be better to have a bigger range of members in the clan? and like i said i will close the invites at say 120 members which leaves 30 free for OcUK new forum members who want to join
 
from my perspective we want active members, if someone has been in the clan from the start, is still active but are non ocuk i find it a bit unfair to suddenly kick them now. Dont se any issues with making it a cut off point for example 20 non ocuk members allowed.

I think the important thing is to have regular reviews of the membership, people come and go and we all get fed up of the game from time to time, if someone is inactive for a predetermined period without any word then its fair enough to remove them (1 month?)

Also with overkill it may be worth maintaing the first post with replies and that way stuff doesnt get lost.
