** OCUK EXCLUSIVE - AK RACING & AROZZI GAMING CHAIRS **

Sigh
My GT Omega is a bust, the chair is starting to make a sound like metal hitting metal every time i stand up, sit down or bit any weight on the backrest. Looks like the bottom part attaching the seat to the piston is to blame. Also the backrest has decided to slide over to the side for some reason its like 4cm off center....
Looks like I might be ordering the AK again (premium one this time!)......will wait for people to comment on the quality.

PS: Don't worry about the armrests, yes they are not "padded" but they are not hard plastic either more like a hard foam with a thin plastic/rubber covering so they are "squishy" to some extent.

Make sure to take a picture of the actual mechanism (the thing with leavers), want to know if its just a cheap plate or one of the proper multi-function ones dx racer's have.

still waiting for them to clear port. we have provided the forwarder with all of the documents requested of us so its a waiting game now sadly.

if it clears in time today, the delivery will be next day into us.

As I say, its out of our hands now, we have done everything we need to our side, so its in the hands of the port.

shipping delays happen at port, perhaps we have been optimistic.

This is not welcome news rjk every day this is delayed is another day closer to me flying out of the country and asking OCuK for my money back!

If the ports are delaying there must be an issue that needs to be addressed? Personally I wouldnt be taking this from the ports, or the shipping forwarder.

It has been 18 days since I was told by your e-ticket teams when the chairs would be coming in!

I totally appreciate that delays aren't ideal. As I have mentioned, all commercial invoices and paperwork have been provided to the port. Sadly these things sometimes take longer than 24 hours and the weekend being in the middle of it hasn't helped.

We are at the limit of what we can do to accelerate this process and I am waiting to hear back from my shipping forwarder who is doing everything he can to help on this matter, so it is far from the case of us 'taking this' from them.

I can appreciate the frustration here, but I can assure you that we are doing everything in our power to get this process sped up.

You need to understand though OCUK as a company can't do anything about whats happening.
They where given dates, the port/shipping to them is at fault not OCUK, they have no control over it, even if they complained it would fall of deaf ears.
It is anoyying I agree, but its not OCUK's fault.

Well said MatsyLR!

Customs are a law unto themselves and are a royal pain in the ass at times.

C'mon guys, nobody should be blaming OCUK for clearance delays.

Remember patience is a virtue!

ok so my shipping forwarder has told me about the problem he is having. something to do with the shipping paperwork from the sender. it only applies to one of the containers though but it is holding both up. This is what is causing the delay.

He has given me a conservative ETA but to be on the safe side, I am making a public ETA of Thursday.

Thankyou rjk - now we have an explanation as to what is occuring im sure we can find new patience :D

as i say, its understandable.

we are doing what we can and its just as frustrating for me telling you guys its gonna happen then getting customs playing silly buggers.

I've had my fair share of issues with customs, imported a set of dvds (CSI: season 1-10) for my mum over 300£ worth of DVDs with a market value at the time of close to 450£ in the UK if I had bought them all separately and they came through customs without issues.

Whereas I ordered a 15£ tshirt with 10£ shipping from J!NX and customs thought that I should pay them 45£ for the honor of them making sure my tshirt wasnt a bomb lol!
