** OCUK EXCLUSIVE - AK RACING & AROZZI GAMING CHAIRS **

Just got the AK Racing Player Gaming Chair in Black / White.

Great chair and very quick delivery and awesome service from OC. Very comfy and sturdy/well built.

Lumbar cushion a bit fat for me but I am sure I will squash it down but taken it off at the moment.

What's the low down on the Arozzi Monza?

I haven't read through the whole thread but the majority of the posts I saw were about the AK range?

I see OCUK now sell DX racer chairs which is brilliant to see, didn't see an announcement for them though!?

I'm in the market for a new chair but would ideally like one that you can detach from its base and then attach to a racing wheel frame; is this possible with any of the 'gaming chairs' OCUK sell?

Arozzi is a more budget focussed chair, aimed at people who don't want to spend £200+ on a chair but still want something nice and with good quality.

We actually have a new range of DX Racer on order, more details in the next few months.

Whens the yellow Arozzi Monza going back on a deal. Seen the red one has been on twice recently, still waiting to buy...

Yea I missed it! I thought I had till Wednesday, but it went after the weekend.
Will that be next wed to the wed after? I'm away next week.

I received my Akracing Player a few weeks ago and, while the instructions were basically wrong in every way due to it being shipped 1/2 complete, it went together almost perfectly (I say almost because one of the threads for the 4 screws that hold the back on is a bit dodgy and only goes in about 1/4 of the way (I'm not heavy enough to need to worry though)

The wheels on my one are heavily creaking / making cracking sounds when wheeling the chair or spinning / rocking or anything else that puts pressure on the wheels (Even with nobody in the chair). This is concerning and annoying me :/ .... Anyone else having this?

Also no free headphones like you would get from AKRacing direct ;(
apart from that it is an amazing chair for the price!

Edit: Video (Mic is awful so hard to hear but you might be able to get an idea?) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wGfAPB0JU_w

If you need a chair for 7+ hours per day then you need one that was designed for it. Try out a Herman Miller chair at your local John Lewis if possible - I got one refurbished for about 25% of cost price (which was over a grand). Everything fully adjustable and extremely comfortable. You don't need to worry about quality control on these chairs either, just buy and forget about it. Should last you 20 years or more.

Ultimately, like most things, you get what you pay for. I'm sure these bucket style seats are fine for a quick hour on COD but longer sessions you will need something a bit better.

I can vouch for this. Herman Miller know their erogonics that's for sure. I could spend 48hrs in my aeron no problem. And I got a refurbished model for about £300. Never looked back - what a great chair.
