Great info. with an overall view of the upcoming SSD market. Looks like it could be a winner, especially with the warranty it comes with. Shame it's over £3/GB, can't really justify the cost myself until they get to more like £2/GB at similar speeds, would definitley get this if I had the cash though.
Does anyone know if OCUK have enough stock coming in to fulfill pre-orders??

OCZ had to delay again but should be shipping tonight for delivery 25/2. Should have enough to cover all the pre-orders.
same as that, pre-ordered mine on the 12/02, but the last couple of days ive been reading about the crucial c300 with its 355 read speed (seen it peek @ 385 in a benchmark review) and sata III interface.... kinda makes this one look a bit more ordinary for me now especially as ive just bought a mobo with sata III

I had one on pre-order but just cancelled it (so one more for you guys 
).
I've got a Sata3 mobo so it makes sense to go for the C300, especially as the cost per meg is about the same.
This will be my first SSD; I've never even seen one in action before, so if I'm gonna blow my socks off I may as well do it properly
Hopefully OcUK will get them in pretty soon. Hopefully Crucial can meet demand.
I wonder what the OCZ LE would have been like with a Sata3 interface. Daft decision to stick with an old interface and limit the drive.
To be fair what Sata2 can provide is probably plenty fast enough for pretty much anything we're likely to do, and outside of benchmarks I may not be able to tell the difference between it and the C300. However these drives are bought by enthusiasts and fast is never fast enough.

Don't worry, it always happens to everyone 
as long as the delay is for a good reason like their re-fitting them with sata III interface and turning the read speed up to 500mbs+ then i dont mind
tbh though i still need to buy some memory before i can finish my new rig so monday/tuesday would be ok BUT it is a bit worrying to have the eta keep being pushed back...
is this ocz LE the new Fermi??
this delay couldnt have come at a better time though, OCuk have just put up an add for the crucial c300 sata III, im gonna give myself till tomorrow lunchtime to decide if i wanna swap, probly will as the c300 is faster, sata III and cheaper per Gb

We have not been informed of any faults. OCZ originally updated the firmware to improve speeds but I'll find out first thing why they've been delayed.
