**OcUK EXCLUSIVE - THE WORLDS FASTEST GTX 680 - KFA2 LTD OC!!

£529 i could build a whole pc for that !.

And the performance would suck in comparison.

Don't get the hate for pricing. OcUK bring exclusive's to the party and then get complaints lol. Once other's have them, sure.. price match. If they are selling for that price, then why not? They are here as a business. There are plenty of other cards available.

Thanks, The build would be

Intel Core i7-3770K
Asus Z77 Maximus V Gene
Samsung 830 256GB SSD
KFA2 GeForce GTX 680 LTD OC
Samsung Green 16GB
Samsung Optical Drive

and the PSU is Corsair AX650.

I'm guessing the power draw on that setup would be no more than 400W for the whole system - 62.5% usage is within optimal efficiency for your very nice Gold-rated PSU. My system pulls no more than 420W on the energy sapping 5970 running Unigine with 30% CPU usage. This is confirmed with my trusty old energy monitor, worth buying one when your really pushing your system or if your not exactly sure. OcUK should start selling them.

+1

Bored of hearing the moaning about the price re GTX680 then moreso GTX690, the performance / price at this moment is right. Could do the usual car comparison here but that's been done in the GTX690 thread by Gibbo!

Thanks, would it be worth getting the AX750 instead? I plan on overclocking the CPU and GPU. Will the PSU run quieter if it's running at 50% efficiency?

Honesty, your fine with your current PSU for a single GPU. For gaming - even with CPU+GPU overclocked adds around 70W because of the efficiency of the GTX680 + 3770K - I don't see any issues. I'm buying a couple GTX680s and worked out that my 850W PSU is fine. Unless your buying two as well, stick with 650W. Your 7-year warranty should give you total peace of mind.

Will the PSU run quieter if it's running at 50% efficiency?

Your PSUs doesn't work like that as efficiency is above 76% at 20% load (this is when your PSU is fanless), full load is 88% (you'll just about hear the PSU if your put your ear near it).

Thank you for your help FNTopFan.

Gibbo does the KFA2 GeForce GTX 680 LTD OC 2048MB come with a backplate?

Thanks.

I have heard that if you look up at a full moon and then howl the song of the KFA2 beast, that a LTD OC card then slowly descends into your hands, in other words, I guess this card is having some manufacturing problems for the long delay huh? :(

Doubt it, sounds like a supply issue in general with the GTX680s from what Gibbo said on other custom-pbc's here. Read further on for more on the GTX680 in general.

This card is truly amazing though. I got 1340 out of it and it runs silent in games. Fans don't go past 55 percent and temps stay 60 max at 1080p in max settings for games.

It's without a doubt the best 680 on the Market and available only from ocuk :)

I actually didn't get it from there. I am from the United States I have the Galaxy variant which is the 680 SOC. Great card. Paid $330 USD for it.

Us and the USA Pay higher than that trade, so you either got very lucky or someone owed you a favour, as GTX 680s are not £200 anywhere in the world. :p

Lol I know it was quite a steal. They go for $560 on Amazon and Newegg. I got some special favors from a friend. Doubt I can pull it off again for SLI time. Card runs excellent though. I'm creeping on 1350mhz on the 1.175 volt cap. Overclocks amazingly well.

Are there any reviews/benchmarks for this card out yet please? :) and does it still come with the custom voltage chip? :)

Yes they have the custom voltage chiP.
This is the only 680 with dual 8 pin power connectors, voltage control and White PCB. The only card coming out to match this is the EVGA classified which has no ETA.

Yes it has the chip but no it does NOT offer a hair past 1.175 in ANY program you use. Unless the KFA2 logos change the PCB from mine which is not the case I'm certain, then no there is no increase in the limits. You can hit 1300mhz with ease on this card though at the 1.175. I personally have hit 1340

Also MSI also has the 680 Lightning to feature their triple voltage stuff and an 8+8 power
