**OcUK EXCLUSIVE - THE WORLDS FASTEST GTX 680 - KFA2 LTD OC!!

Also here was my best running 1338 on the core. Ran 1340 but it scored 100 lower oddly enough, different day though. http://3dmark.com/3dm11/3640116

Good score. Check your voltage with Afterburner, could be underclocking due to higher thermal temps. Normally doesn't happen until it reaches 70c in my experience with another GTX680. Because these are custom PCBs, it rules out waterblocks which would have been interesting - the only real limit is the temperature with these.

Afterburner confirms 1.175 and voltmeter confirms Nvidia's true 1.2 volts depending on load. Thermal limits is not an issue with this card. 55 degrees at idle fans through 3DMark 11

It would be even more amazing if the custom voltage chip actually appeared to do anything though :(, but apart from that it does sound fantastic, need some benchmarks compared to a Windforce 670/stock 680 me tinks :)

It is exact the same chip pn KFA2 EX OC version, I had this card, but It was impossible to unlock voltage.IMO without unlocking voltage compatibility is pointless to buy this card.

KFA / Galaxy should be releasing their own OC tool soon which will see the chip Properly, so keep an eye on their websites. Yes the EX OC also has the voltage controller chip too. :)

I'm excited I can't wait to see what these can do. And awesome if that happens to the EX series too I'll be happy. I love how those look and almost got the 670 had the price not went up.

You'd be very unlucky to get a White edition 680 which could not do 1300mhz plus on the core!

Remember they boost to 1267mhz out the box which I believe is the fastest of all the 680s :)

Here is a little more info for some specific details if anyone is interested.

Me and this guy have been in a week long conversation in general discussion about this card and with trying to get more info for everyone. He is a great support tech. We actually started talking in general about our 680's, he has the 680 GC/ EX OC. By far the best customer support I have ever received.

Hoping to take the plunge of one of these today or tomorrow (infact, while I'm here, if I order a load of items on OCUK and 1 is on pre-order, do they wait for that item; or send the rest straight away and send the pre-order item separately?)

That's impressive, are they are all guaranteed this clock out the box?
My second POV 680 Ultra Charged does 1215MHz boost as default which is good enough for me, however unlike the Ltd OC here, the other Ultra Charged is 1189MHz. Worth paying a bit extra there for additional headroom if your benching.

Am I right in thinking you can't get waterblocks for the KFA2 LTD OC or the EX OC cards?

Most likely not. Not full coverage anyway. Most non-reference cards don't have that luxury. This card has a longer PCB as well. You will have to use a universal block if you decide on water cooling.

They aren't guaranteed 1300 straight out of the box but the boost is 1267 guaranteed. I highly doubt you will see sub 1300 numbers though.
