This seems to be the last website that I use regularly that is still on http. Do we know if there are plans to move to the more secure https? Or am I missing something obvious?

So long as login details are sent https, there's not really anything else that requires it. Unless "This instant and moment" needs hidden from GCHQ.

I don't think you realise the difference between HTTP and HTTPS and they are used for.

Considering Google now rank sites using SSL higher than without, I think you're struggling to understand the difference. :).

Sure, in this instance it would be a bit pointless, but it's becoming more commonplace for domains to be using a basic CA signed cert.

Obviously, HTTPS offers secure encryption, it was irrelevant to what I meant towards the OP.
