I cannot becuase the rules of this forum prevent me discussing competitors. However, I can assure you that generally speaking on the high street a PS3 title will be more expensive than its Xbox 360 eqiuvilent.

I guess if you cant provide this info then your talking out of your derriere bud. And i should just ignore your trolling attempts on this topic.

I find the under siege mentality of the PS3 users utterly bizzare. If the mods decide this is possible I would like to see a vote on it first.

Ok i'll take the bait: I did a quick check of 3 major online video game retailers. In all of them the standard retail price of ps3/xbox360 games is £39.99 some are cheaper at £29.99 or £32.99 but in all 3 sites neither is cheaper than the other so im not sure where you are getting your information from.

The 3 online game sites 1 of them has a presence on the high street, the other 2 are the major online retailers.

Well you're posting controversial and defamotary remarks about the ps3 without even a hint of evidence or backup. That and your preceding comments "i dont care about consoles" and your remark that there was only 4 good ps3 games leads me to believe you were trying to get a rise out of me for no good reason other than because you are annoyed or something lol. How can you know there are only 4 good games for it if you dont care and have no interest in consoles? (ie the ps3)

I have no real interest (PC gaming is where its at!) - I have a 360 but I rarely play it - but I work part time whilst at Uni selling the darn things and have done for some time. Hence, pricing information etc is something I unfortunately know a bit about. As is the amount of games available on each.

Like any minority group does i guess who are constantly told "they are crap or worthless" by the "higher class" or discriminated against.

ok sorry. And it wasnt actually about a ps3 vs 360 debate. It was about the possibilities of splitting the consoles forum into 2 or 3 sub-forums respective of their games and consoles. So that we dont have to endure (yes endure in a lot of cases) a lot of discrimination and fanboy-ism by the majority class

Possibly the online prices in general are cheaper than your in-store price then.

Yes - a recent example was Fifa 08. £44.99 on Xbox, £49.99 on PS3. Tiger Woods 08, £39.99 on Xbox, £49.99 on PS3.

I've played the PS3 and it's an impressive console - I didn't dislike it - but the amount of quality, musthave titles was considerably down on the 360 (Not the PS3's fault, it's an immature platform compared to the Xbox) and until very recently the price difference was simply huge.

At this point in time, there is more choice and better value from a 360. The PS3 needs time before, IMHO, it's a must have platform. It WILL become a must have platform, just not yet.

I would remove post counts and replace with some sort of reputation system NOT related to posts or you get people like El Raz posting tedious ******* to increase their count

I don't think this idea of posting simply to increase your postcount exists anywhere but the minds of those who dont like post counts.

Another forum that I belong to shows the male / female symbol along with the avatar. You know, the Mars / Venus thing. This keeps things simple when it comes to avatars, otherwise you would have to have female ones for each level achieved.

The RR day's i've organised have been really great fun in my opinion, and Im aware of several other meets that seem to have regular re runs.......

How about allowing an extra line of text on sigs? Especially those with a picture - that should be upped to 2 lines of text.
