OCUK GPU prices correct or is there a code to use?

MSRP is a load of bovine excrement. Prices will never be MSRP again. It's silly to even think of GPU or any component prices, to ever be MSRP. It's a made up number.

I think it's probably the last say 50+ years of retail where MSRP represented the price that a product would be sold for?

Surely any price is a made up number.

I completely agree and even stated that before the chip shortage msrp never existed which is why my budget is £650 and not £529 but the current pricing is just an absolute joke and companies like OCUK inflating their prices like they have is disgusting in my honest opinion.

U get scalpers will do it as there is no stopping those sick losers
You can't blame OCUK though. The manufacturers have hiked there prices whom sell direct. So if the manufacturers have hiked prices then OCUk aren't going to sell at a loss.

I refuse to believe the prices of the rtx 3070 and 3070ti are correct on the OCUK website because if they are OCUK should be utterly ashamed of themselves.

With an rrp of £529 for the fe surely the AIB cards should not be priced at more than £650 - £700 for the reference models

I never expected to find one at rrp even before the shortage that never happened but I did not expect to find them at over double the price that is just insane and anti consumer

Where have you been hiding been like this for a year now !

Its not OCUK's fault either it wont be far off the price they have to pay.

Good job you dont want a 3090 !

To be fair I have been out of the gaming pc scene for about 8 months and only just jumped back in. Wish I hadn't now but too late as I have already grabbed a case motherboard psu and ssd :/

In the last 3 years, MSRP is a click bait number given out to get your attention when you'll never get a component for that price. It's a made up number to get your attention, no real world connection to it any more.

Well everything you have said has already been said a thousand times more and we will be like this for another few years yet and its not just PC's that have the issue.

@steverebo @subbytna

also worth keeping an eye on the google sheet for history of drops, the reseller for DE/NL/Austria tend to get a drop a few days before ours.

Search 'Founders drops EU' in google then the link is in the reddit thread

I actually saw the 3060ti in stock on the last drop, but was too poor to go through with it...heartbreaking!

Edit: removed direct link to spreadsheet as it may infringe on forum rules

How is MSRP a made up number when hundreds of people here have bought GPUs for it over the last year, myself included.

Nvidia must have made and sold millions of 30 series FE cards worldwide by now at MSRP. There is no way on earth that has been done at a loss in my opinion.

So it's the AIBs being greedy and wanting to make an excessive markup.

There is no need for AIBs any more, if the likes of Nvidia can make the cards in bulk in house.

And what's more, this time around the FE cards are top notch in quality and aesthetics.

I've got about 10 different store pages open on my browser that I keep checking and OCUK by far have the highest mark up on cards compared to anyone else, I mean their prices are at scalper level in some instances

Nvidia selling some, and it IS some in the grand scheme of things, at the MSRP, is nothing more than a marketing ploy.

"Look what you can buy" when in reality, AIB cards included, you'll end up paying a LOT more than MSRP for one. The time, effort and LUCK needed to get a card at MSRP is madness, compared to a few years ago. MSRP WAS a thing that could be trusted back then, now it isn't.

I agree with you on the Nvidias FE cards being good, but they are so scarce that its a dream for most, to get one at a decent price....the MSRP price.
