OcUK GUIDE TO ORDERING YOUR AMD 9070 GRAPHICS CARD TODAY AT 14:00

If we sold a 9070 XT at MSRP today we would make horrific losses, simple as that, which is why you don't see it available anywhere since launch.
While it's true that it hasn't been seen available at MSRP anywhere since launch, the Pulse model was £30 cheaper elsewhere for a good length of time.

Bit late to the party but getting my Pulse today!

I'll be using DDU to uninstall nvidia drivers before installing the AMD ones. Is there anything else I should do when the card is installed? Just asking cos I've seen people mention undervolting and it's been ages since I messed with a GPU and it's settings.
Delete your steam shader cache before installing

Why is the MSRP so high in the first place though? 9070XT is roughly the same parts as a 7800XT the only significant difference is the chip.

Retailers can't buy in enough volume according to Gibbo, whose fault is that? these rubbish launches where products trickle out have become a regular occurence now, never used to be the case. Who is profiting from £500 cards being sold at £800? follow the money as they say.
Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe over 10k 9070s have been sold in a month by OCUK alone. That's not a trickle of products.

People want a good card at a good price, £650 is not ideal but I and I guess many others feel more comfortable paying that than over £700 for say the 5070 ti or the more expensive 9070 XT models. £700 and above is too near a grand for my liking.

It's way more than I wanted to pay, for sure.

But the 5060 Ti is a bust. 20% faster than my 3060 Ti only, so sad.

The 5070 is missing VRAM. Worthless card.

The 9070 xt should be £600, but I need a GPU now and it's either £70 more now or have no GPU for months.

Neither company are saints but nV are just so blatant and arrogant. They don't want to throw gamers any kind of bone this gen.

In the same boat really. My 2070 super is showing it's age and because i like small form factor i'm limited to just the reaper for amd in the 9070 xt series and am i ****** going to overspend for nvidia 5070 ti.

Because for some reason there are enough people willing to pay the silly prices asked.

If the 9070xt doesn't go back down to it's rrp, I'll likely just get a 5070 ti instead which will clearly be abundantly available at RRP soon looking at stock levels everywhere. It's objectively the better card so it's madness to pay over £700 for a 9070 XT in my opinion.
