It is because Zotac just like any other board partner putting waterblocks on cards cannot test an OC, this is because Zotac have no idea on the ability of your waterloop.

This is why the blocked cards typically have no OC, simple facts are Zotac AMP Extremes have being yielding the best results overall, so this card should do very well and certainly has a far better power design than the MSI Seak Hawk EK has and cost the same money. :)

They are also binned, but Zotac use default clocks for reasons above, as they have no idea on the quality and performance of your loop.

Ben when you were here the number you see are just purchases via credit/debit card, unfortunately Amazon/Paypal orders remain hidden until stock actually lands. I cannot see Amazon orders so there is nothing I can do with those.

I just had sales manager give me the numbers remaining on 1080:
1080 SC: Still 16 pre-orders to clear.
1080 FTW: Still 7 pre-orders to clear.

So not so many, hopefully these can all be cleared next week? As discussed even better would be to get 100-200 units into stock so we actually have product on the shelf to sell. :)

Here is the response Zotac gave:

Our waterblock was made by aluminum with antioxidant protection. Based on our own test, we did not find any problem even with water (not coolant). Also many of the radiator you can find on the market were made by aluminum also.

Also we had a note inside the package, which tell the end-user this waterblock can only work with coolant made for PC watercooling. Our waterblock would not cause any issue to end-user's waterloop.

There are still some Asus Strix 1080 OC and EVGA Hybrid customers waiting.

We shipped some more Strix 1080 OC today, so now there is only around 15 orders left to go.

EVGA Hybrid cards are also due to be arriving at OcUK hopefully mid-end of this month. :)

Yes sorry I only see regular orders, there is another 20 orders on top of that done via Amazon checkout, so its closer to 40 actually.
 
Also the KFA2 Blower 1080's arrived, even better they are back to near their original incredible low price of £524.99 at just £539.99 as pound has recovered to 1.35 in short term. :)
 
Other good news, 25pc on Asus Strix 1080 OC arrive Monday, this will clear all the remaining orders and leave some spare.
