** OcUK HAS 21 CUSTOM GTX 1080 MODELS READY FOR PRE-ORDER !! **

For those wondering about deliveries and monies been taken.

Just been on the blower to support.

Only the founders where available on the 27th May (as we all were told).
All of the other cards such as my Inno3D that had the 27th May on the pre-orders hot link were wrong and should not have been there. (ooops)

Dates for the Inno3D cards are hopefully Friday the 3rd June, but no confirmations.

Cards have been debited as per the terms and conditions of pre-orders.

At least I know now.

Ok hopefully you're right about the 3rd June but am not holding my breath, I have a Inno3D x3 on pre order and to be honest I am getting a bit annoyed not knowing a concrete date of release. but that is Inno3d issue not Overclockers

TBH, OCUK messed up with the web page and I was too eager to buy and forgot that only the Founders was release on the 27th.

I saw the Inno3D 4X and it was marked for 27th May and I got excited and placed the order. Only after the bank holiday did I notice it wasn't right and they had removed the hyper link tool tip for dates on the cards.

As for debiting my card, well apparently it is in the T&C's which I haven't read. Either way, I was prepared to wait until the after market cards came out and so I am prepared to wait for the card.

16 here. I would have been quicker but OcUK website was having a hissy fit and timeouts etc

Ditto.

The whole site crashed when I was trying to order. My PC froze and had trouble getting back on OCUK site. I managed to break thru to 19th:D

I will be well chuffed if they get some on Friday.

Yeah the guy told me Friday also and said only a hand full coming in. Was told I was ok:)

Sounds very very promising then :D
Hmm, now do I change my delivery for Sunday, (im out Saturday all day) or just wait for the Monday,... Think i'll just have to wait.

Ben from EVGA did say the 17th, so don't get your hopes up too much chaps.

I want my unicorn FTW now :D

The FTW board is not a standard board unlike the SC, the SC is exactly the same as the FE cards.

The FTW had 10+2 Phase Power (than can supply up 215W I think) with 2x8pin and an even bigger cooler than the SC (180W) which is 1x8pin.
This extra power may help with what some people has been describing as a power limit when both GPU and MEM over oc'd.

The overclockability MAY be a lot better on the FTW depending on the circumstances.
