The prices only partially seem to be related to the exchange rate. Fair enough they went up as the original prices were based on a 1.45 exchange rate, but the only reason now they continue to go up is surely because of supply and demand.

Plenty of demand obviously, but virtually 0 supply when it comes to EVGA and ASUS.
 
Yeah, I agree. The hard thing is watching prices go up on GPU's that are not even available in the UK. The Classified has only just had its spec published never mind anyone owning one in the UK. Pascal was going to be the Titan X killer but at this rate they will be the same price. Good luck guy's with this chaos. Still struggle to believe the numbers of partner cards dribbling in after the original launch, which in my opinion was too rushed. Nvidia even launch another card (1060) in the middle of everything.
 
I've had enough of waiting and bought a Gigabyte G1 instead of waiting for the Strix. Unfortunately I've now lost out because I've had to pay extra for the card.

Sadly, I'll have to sell the Strix at a profit to make up the downfall. I don't like doing that but needs must.

Thanks again for your patience, a little delayed this week with the Typoon but only 1-2 days. Stock down a little as well.

Waiting for next week picture but hopeful GTX1080 picture should improve from what I have this week.

A bit miffed only 10 SC's I feel like I have change my plans constantly just in case I get a delivery. Don't think I will ever pre-order a GPU again. 41 days since order. If it wasn't for the Brexit and price increase I would have changed cards by now.
 
Gibbo or anyone from OC staff, can we get any update on Gigabyte GTX 1080 Xtreme standard edition ? It looks like you did not receive a single one yet.

It is pretty sickening tbh how fast the cards are going up here... I have been trying to order the classified for the past couple of days, but have had issues with the overclocker's system. Knowing that it has gone up by £50 in the time I have been trying to order it is pretty ridiculous. If I find out they will charge me £800, there is no way I am purchasing from them (which I fully expect to be the case). I'd rather by an FTW from a different retailer...
 
I'm kicking myself for ordering Inno3d X3 instead of the X4 as X4 has free stock again, but the price is now absurd. Following the updates here it feels like only 5 units of X3 have ever shipped from OCUK. Good luck all those still waiting for X3. Inno3d has been awful.

I'm waiting for an X3 too .CS just told me they're expecting some in any day. Would've thought Inno3d might have sent them at the same time as the X4's but then again i don't know how they work it. 17th in queue and hoping..

Still no news; this is getting pretty bad now. Totally in the dark about when we are expected to see our GPU's. I appreciate all the updates the ocuk staff have provided before but with a problem like this there should be updates everyday even if it is just a 1 liner saying there's no news. At least let us know what is happening on ocuk side please

I'm 46th so obviously not expecting anything from this week's tiny delivery.

I have a LAN party a week on Saturday that a new GPU would certainly be useful for! Fingers crossed Ben can sort out 50+ for next week :D

Where were you prior to the last shipment of 40 shaun (if you don't mind me asking?) I was 44th, so assumed I would be 4th. Usually such a thing would be no big deal, but with only 10 arriving I am starting to worry about folk queue jumping* and edging me out.

*Just to add, this is not aimed at you as I do seem to recall you were round about me in the previous weeks queue.
 
Yeah I've been pretty patient but the poor communication is starting to grate on me.
Nothing stopping them sending out notification emails for existing pre-orders and nothing stopping them taking cards with huge numbers of unfulfilled pre orders off sale. I'm usually super loyal to OCUK but this whole situation (48 days so far) is making me start to shop around.
