DPD get it so far for people in and around Inverness, then AJG Parcels take over. They are without a doubt the best courier I have ever used for both sending and deliveries. In all honesty, everything I get from OcUK is stated by DPD as 48 hours, but AJG have it in their Inverness depot by 1500 each time and I always do get it next day as they are out until after 1800 just getting stuff delivered. Every time I get something the drivers always tell me they just want to get stuff done and dusted so they have less to do tomorrow. Hence every 48 hour delivery you send to me is here within 24. It's happened with every delivery I can remember getting from OcUK in the past few years!
That's a far sight better than UPS/Parcelforce who will sit with something for 2 days before bringing it out to you.
So for Scottish Highlands, please continue with DPD as they pass it on to AJG who are the best!
It then took me three weeks of phone calls and emails to get the second boxes and in the meantime my car was off the road. Really abysmal service plus no online tracking (until after the delivery) or delivery time slot.
Parcelinq, I feel the pain. I think Zavi or Zazi whatever they are called, sent me something with them before as 24 hour delivery. 3 days later it was still listed as being in their delivery depot so I phoned them and told them I will come and get the bloody thing myself. They have a base here in Inverness, just utterly useless they are.
