Tbh dude its not about knowledge, ability or gear. It was simply a bunch of like minded geeks getting together for a walk, a chat, a laugh & some food.
The photo's were simply a by product and the time absolutely flew by. Its the first meet I've ever attended but it sure as hell won't be my last.
However I have to admit to a little bit of lens envy at Robbie's 85mm f1.4, its obviously a stunning bit of kit and with mrk's eye behind it I'm they'll be some stunners to come.

Nice shots guys! Did you get down to the southbank food market? Lots of colourful food on show there to get snaps of.
mrk/Clown, how are you getting on with that CF ebay tripod? I've been eyeing it up since mrk's thread and can't decide between that and the Manfrotto 190XPROB. Tempted by the lighter ebay tripod right now!

24-105 has really nice bokeh actually!^^
The CF tripod is kicking out good stable shots indeed, Z and Vox used it during some of the night shots and I'm sure they'll agree to its usefulness given the price!

Most of those were shot with the 50/1.4 actually, and one with your 85/1.4, but thanks anyway 
Yeah mrk's tripod was extremely useful, if I didn't have a tripod already it would be on the list to buy.
