I've always found that forum Mafia games are quiet at the weekend. Often mods count the weekend as one day when calculating deadlines.

So who's getting lynched first then? I have no preference seeing as first time up is a pure lottery. Okay that's a lie, I'd prefer if it wasn't me but whatever.

i notice quite a few have been very silent, apart from their initial post, comon this seems to be a game of 4 people

It's day 1. You can't really expect much else. All you'll get is a few groundless 'suspicions' from people based on trivial evidence or flat out guesses, then at the end of it a townie will end up getting lynched and we'll be worse off than when we started.
Maybe our resident expert on this game would like to speak up and tell us where we're going wrong?

Like Kaiowas said, the mafia don't really need to do anything day 1. Unless it looks like the Townies are going to guess lucky then they are likely to start chirping in. The odds are stacked firmly in their favour.

Yep pretty much what everyone said, first day is usually pretty quiet apart from some tentative hellos (and Killswitch trying to swing the axe apparently!)
