OcUK Mafia game thread - Game 3

Cards have sharp edges and we couldn't trust you with them Gooner.... ;-)

The only person who may be playing a game (in my eyes anyway) is Jedi. His playing of the "expert" card is a good way to get to the next round. Or he could be a helpful townie. Not a lot to go on

Those thoughts had crossed my mind too.
 
Ok I'm going to go out on a limb here and probably get myself lynched but I guess someone has to start...

Vote: Egon

I think that Jedi is innocent but thought I would fish for backers with my theory he is playing a game. With little evidence to back up my theory anyone jumping to support it is a mafia member trying to get a townie lynched. I could be completely wide of the mark but I need to vote for someone, so Egon it is.

you see, now you might be trying to get a townie lynched, and have voted first, soo..... it does kinda look like your mafia, however this could be a sacrificial vote

Purely on the basis of the above quote, I don't really have anything more to go on. I don't like the way he has tried to draw attention to me, and his follow up post portraying him to be a nice guy seems a bit iffy. :p

Most suspicious thing I have read so far.
I also could be wide of the mark here, but why are you voting Egon then trying to protect him.

Either you are voting for him as you think he is dodgy and other people might see that and agree with you or you are voting for him as you think he is the least suspicious person and are trying to lue people out (however, with the above quote you might fail) or you are both Mafia and it is actually a good way for both of you to get to the night.
 
My reasoning is that mafia members are going to want to guide townies to voting for each other. I thought that if I came up with a vague theory on someone who I think is a townie it would encourage mafia members to pile in on accusing Jedi. As it turned out only Egon gave my idea credence so as I result with nothing to go on with anyone else in the town I have decided to vote for Egon.

Well I still stand by my comments, the thought had crossed my mind. Jedi is the only one so far to have said something to really make people think. I haven't tried playing any mind games thus far to try and trick people and put them in an uneasy position unlike yourself. Who is really more suspicious after that little dirty move?

For what it is worth, I still have no idea. I'm tempted to vote like Killswitch for Leprechaun312, but only because Leprechaun312 was the first to say anything untoward, not because I genuinely think he is Mafia. My 2nd is for Gooner as he is conspicuously quiet compared to last game, but I think that is more down to "that got me lynched, try a new approach". My 3rd is Jedi for reasons disclosed above.
