I'm confused now! From first post by iviv

As with the rest of my games, we require a simple majority by the end of the time for the kill to go ahead. In the case of a tie, nobody dies.

I thought "Majority" meant "more than half" but maybe not?! I'll trust iviv to check.

If I vote, nobody dies. If I don't vote, I die.

Assuming nobody changes his vote.

Malt's not the best town poster at the moment but I really don't see him being the target for today. To me, he comes across as naive, not malevolent or sitting on the fence. I would prefer Leprechaun if that's the way it goes.

It means there were 2 people I was leaning towards and probably (although from last game it could be a misdirect) I'm barking up the wrong tree.

This is interesting, I'd only thought about it from being a bit aggressive. I hadn't thought about it from a discouraging voting point of view.

For clarification, when I said a majority, I mean more than any others. Whoever has the most votes dies. If it is a tie, nobody dies.

I disagree with my posts lacking content. It isn't my fault people aren't confident putting their vote forward. Malt is facing death row and doesnt know what to do, whos the 2nd pudney? he's confused as he is voting the same way i am while being suspicious of me

I didn't know what to do in day 1 too. I think it's because I really don't want to make a bad choice. It's my irl character too.

I'm not confused because I am facing death row lol. I can just for for anyone and save myself (assuming nobody changes his vote) but I want to kill. As i said, my vote is between you and 47.

I disagree, both times he discouraged it because of the lack of justification behind the nomination (or in Malt's case it was the random number generator suggestion wasn't it?)

yeah confused was kind of the wrong word. and i agree a kill is needed or tonight the mafia get another townie for free

exactly, i said this earlier on, i question when there is no justification, not to discourage voting

I've gone back and read the posts (again) and they don't seem to be discouraging votes, just questioning specific votes and encouraging day 1 votes.

I still don't like the blood thirsty thing, hence my continuing suspicions. But that's it for Leprechaun.

Malteser really needs to give me a reason to unvote at the moment. At least providing something constructive for us.

Surely it would be a mafia member who would put up more of a fight. The aim of the game is kill the mafia, not the townies. If a mafia man wants to win, he has to use all the tricks to stay in the game, as if he stays in the game, it will eventually guarantee a win.

I'm nobody special. I'm not a mafia member. I've been pushing for a kill to try and eliminate the mafia members. The defensive members are mafia members to me. Mafia members don't care who you vote for (except if you vote for their fellow mafia member). A townie will push not to deflect the attacks, but to point to the mafia member.

Now, to my actual defense (of you still want one). I'm a townie. I've pushed for kills, arguably without decent backing. I felt that the more active members were going to be shot down first by mafia men. i was one of the more active people in the first day and I escaped the kill (arguably because what i said was not very anti-mafia, and I might have deflected attention off the solid points in the thread). I could have been a decent tool/mask for the mafia. So I decided to take a step back and analyze rather than talk. It has not worked out brilliantly, I must admit, but I have my doubts.

Well, a mafia man would prefer blending in, and getting detailed information on why people are targeting others, so they do not do the same mistakes. As I said in the first part, a mafia man is defensive. He is defensive.

Take a football team. If you know your opponent's tactics, you would change the way you play as long as you win.

I might have defended Lep a few posts back, branding him as a townie, but I had my reasons. He questions everything, but he didn't question my decision of defending him. Obviously, it is because that is what he wants, to be defended by everyone.

To support the town you need to give information through posts. Not giving information means townies can't assess and makes the job harder.

If you notice 2 posts after you posted saying

Brab, Leprechaun and me are townies. That leaves Shami, FortySeven, Pudney and Chris.

i voted for you even though you thought me as town. This was because that was the last straw, i believe by you posting saying you think me and brabb are town is because you know we are town and were trying to blend in. As you said in your post

I believe this vote is a last ditch attempt to get people to vote me and to save you. If it works, IVIV will post i was a townie and tomorrow you will be the one in question as i was a townie and i suspected you of being mafia

I understand, as I already said. I can promise that if I am saved (well, not killed) I will perform better. Potentially, there will be 5 people (incl me) so it will be easier to track the people.

I am not a mafia man, as I said. There is nothing else I can do to try and change suspicion.

Votes are stuck to 2-2, so it is up to others (not me) to swap votes.
