OcUK Mini Rolling Road Day 14.5 @ PowerStation (Tewksbury) - Saturday November 24th 2012

Had a good day, somewhat bemused at losing another 5bhp compared to last time despite no changes to the car, but just the luck of the dyno I guess!

Cheers to gibbo for the passenger ride, conditions clearly held you back slightly but still clear what a great machine the 911 is!

The GTR was epic, being crammed into the back as extra weight for the dyno run less so, I'm not made for such a confined space :D

Feel bad for the chap who broke his monaro, and for killer, here's hoping it's a simple fix!
 
Good day again, sorry again for not going to the pub, don't get a lot of time to do stuff bar the weekend so have to fit a lot of things in.

Pretty pleased with the tuning box results, expected a bit more torque but 215bhp and 243lbs torque up from 195bhp and 218lbs will do :-D

Gibbos offer if a passenger lap was great, impressive machine, on my shopping list in the future, really impressed with the ride quality.

Can someone Send me the pdf of the run as they couldn't print it Cheers.

ive just made a video of mine, yours killer_uks, Kostas and ^JP^s cars.

edited out a lot of rubbish, its gonna take a good while to upload on my bag of derp internet though, its only in 720p because 1080p would have taken days.

mine, kostas and JPs exhaust sound rubbish though as i think the sound levels just made the mic on my phone stop working properly.

No problem mate, the 911 is immense in the wet but big puddles and try to remember where they all were means could not fully commit as no car is immune to aquaplaning.

It's not very broken, it was a slow speed bit of kerb bumping but sorry to my passenger for any head-banging - didn't expect understeer! No wheel-wobble on the motorway but obviously camber/tracking needs looking at. At least it's making the expected power now :)

A new lower arm and maybe a tie rod should see it right...and a good excuse to get alloys weighing half the OEM rubbish.
 
Could we have a table with the cars and their respective performance? I want to check the perodua's performance against what it was sold as being, and to have something to refer to next time, when I've fitted a turbo, sorted the rear brakes and removed the rear seats.

I'll attend the next one and will probably run. Looked like a good one. Can the GTR attend the next one please so I can have a ride and also a free mouse mat will be cool.

Just got in, no stops, a little over 4 hours.

Had a great day, was nice to meet everyone at last.
I am sorry not to have given everyone a ride in the GTR but the weather was foul and getting worse, the water build up on those roads was just getting silly.

Next meet when the weather is good I will do as many as I can!

Extremely happy with the results.

All the pictures look good so far, thanks for sharing. I have some videos that in will get over to Kosta for him to work his magic on

Oh and thanks for the mouse mats too, frikin' huge! Takes up most of my desk but is cool. Might need to see if I can steal a couple more at the next meet :-)
