Remove me from the running list, I don't know if I'll have my car back by then. It got hit yesterday :(

Worst comes to it I'll bagsy a ride with Clown in the tree fiddy so I should still be there :)
 
OK, Managed to sort a meeting in Telford on Friday 23rd so I will stay the night and be able to join in on the Saturday then drive 200+ miles home!

So put me down as running and hope for 550/550+ ;)

Lets hope we get some good weather and if anyone can recommend me a good hotel in the area with nice parking that would be great.
 
Ooooo yeah! That I am looking forward to. I shall amend the list shortly.

I think I will finally get that passenger ride in a GTR that I have always wanted ;) Please? :D

PS guys I will be soon sorting a running order. Does anyone have any preferences? E.g. need to run early as they need to get going, or want to run late as they are arriving late?
 
If we do get good weather and someone has a V-Box type device it would be pretty cool to see what it does :D

Scooby, when you next talk to Powerstation, can you ask them if they have run any of the new GTRs before?

My brother wanted to go to a local dyno with me and his car (RS3) and apparently they wouldn't do either of our cars.
Even with a 4WD dyno they said the RS3 has a weird 4WD system and it could get damaged and apparently the diffs on the GTR can overheat with their type of dyno.

Sounded like a load of bs but would be interested to know what powerstation say.

Powerstation have definitely run them and the RS3 before.

I will however contact Andy and ask him to confirm.

A proper V-Box would be great for us all to have a go. I'm yet to use one that can record 0-100mph :)

I looked and a "Racelogic Performance Box" is around the 400 mark. Don't really want to buy my own :p
 
Although it would seem I won't have my modified turbo back with the work done on it, I have managed to acquire a turbo which I will hopefully fit it Friday night/Saturday then get a map tweak ASAP before the RR day.

It will probably make pretty similar figures to my what my standard VF35 did before, but I want to be able to drive my car again, and I am unsure how long I will be waiting to receive my modified unit back. So have took the chance on buying another turbo, so hopefully it's a good one without any issue and I can enjoy my car whilst I wait however long for my old one to return :)

I think someone from OCUK should step in an have an official one :D

Are you modifying a VF35 or something different? Port, polish, compressor wheel, wastegate spring?

I used to own a WR1 with a few mods ;)
