I got one last year that lasted like a month or so before it started separating from the rubber base. I tried to query a replacement for it only to be told that it was just wear and tear as if a mouse mat lasting less than 2 months is considered wear and tear. It seems they've been changed to stop the top coming away which shows it's not reasonable to claim wear and tear...

I was quite disappointed with the mat itself and the after service I received too.
 
2mm sounds really thin, do these bunch up when moving things around on the desk if you know what I mean. At 2mm thick doesn't seem like it would have another weight to it.

We were chatting about this the other day. Someone was complaining at a show the mats were a great price but too big for his desk. What followed was the easiest modding tutorial known to man.

Apparently all it took was a pair of scissors and about 10 seconds.

received two XXL Premium mats today.
time to replace the last surface that I've had for 4 years and starting to look a bit past it.

feel a bit gutted not have received any Haribo in the box :(
