We were chatting about this the other day. Someone was complaining at a show the mats were a great price but too big for his desk. What followed was the easiest modding tutorial known to man.

Apparently all it took was a pair of scissors and about 10 seconds.

If I cut it it would look a right mess.

I have received my 2 mats today and I received 2 packets of haribo. When I received my £400 graphics card I only received 1 packet of haribo. How is the haribo distrubution calculated? Is it based on the number of items ordered, the value of the order, the size of the hands of the person packing the parcel or if the member of staff decides to eat a packet or two?

I have been using these for quite a while now and I have not had any problems with the edges fraying.

I think they just throw it in randomly. I've had big orders where I've just got 1/2, I've had orders where I've had none and then I've had orders where I've had 5/6.

Do you think there's anything you could do about my mat where I was just fobbed off with "wear and tear"? As I said to the guy at the time, I don't think expecting a couple of months out of a mouse mat is an unreasonable expectation.

You are probably best posting in the customer services forum mate. I agree, they should definitely last more than 2 months.

That's the easy way out for them unfortunately. If you paid by credit card you could try getting a refund.

I wouldn't go that far really, it's just about 6b4 the principle of it and the disappointment of being fobbed off on quite an inexpensive item.
