OcUK Nikeplus Challenge

I've been using my Nike plus kit for a little while now and have challenges between me and my friends. I'm finding it a great tool for training and it really spurs all of us on to run that bit extra to stay in the "lead".
Would any of you guys on OcUK fancy a challenge just for the forum?
Could be anything from who can run the most K's in a month to the fastest 5k.
Thoughts?

If you have an ipod you just need the little Nike+ kit (not expensive) then you can stick it on your trainers and go running

You'd use the Nike+ website to upload all your stats etc

I only have a Nano.

It's awesome, but would Nike+ work with it?

Quick google tells me:

MP3 Player Compatibility: iPod nano, iPod touch (2G)

I guess that rules out my iPhone 3G and iPod shuffle

It works on the new iPhone 3G S too.. although it's hardly worth upgrading for

Yes it does, I am currently using the new nano and it works brilliantly with it.
It's well worth the £20 I paid for the kit. Just back from a 9.90km run in 45mins 48secs. I'm sure it works with one of the iphone's as well, i'm guessing the new models.

Just checked. It isn't a nano, it's a shuffle. The really good 4gb brand new smallest ever one.

Ah in that case I don't think it'll work with it. Shame would have been good to have some competition with the mods involved

Why stick to nike+. Is this for evidence, if so surely any method of logging data could be used. e.g. a Garmin ??

I do have a polar watch and magic foot thing though....

I was just thinking Nikeplus, because you can set up challenges on it and you can see on this site who is in the lead with their graphs and stuff. But I guess we could try it a different way, have no expedience with the garmin kit though.

I can imagine it would be much easier with the nike+ kit, ive heard the online stuff for that is pretty good....

Nike+ online is pretty sweet actually. I bought a nano specifically to use it running.
