Seriously? 40 pictures of trees and leaves.

yep

there are some interesting trees in interesting places, e.g......er, i'll keep my ideas to myself..., but lets just say there are a number of amazing trees or trees in the oddest places that makes this a potentially good subject, lets be honest,

around the country there are sure to be interesting trees like:

with leaves, i'm thinking more location/position etc then the leaves themselves, e.g.

although leaves are a more autumnal subject usually, if one ignores the more esoteric he eats, shoots leaves etc

That then puts the theme into the hands of the photographer. So technically it would be 40 odd different themes.

Why not have a month with no Theme ?? . Just photos with extra Impact factor ???. Make life easier on the Judges , just marks for technical and whether it makes them go wow or not

i think it would be harder for the judges without a theme tbh. And it would make it unfair.

I think that would be hard to do as the photo has to say it all with no words think of a song say ' stairway to heaven' now I love stair photos but how do you say its a stairway to heaven without even mentioning the song to give the people the idea you saw

Congrats all especially to Geoff I was very surprised not to come last as all I used was a camera phone hopefully may have a new camera for next comp but who knows.
Like the idea of trees and leaves as gives a lot of ideas to me and not just the standard.

Was wondering how do I get feedback on my photo other than just score?

ah ha! Thats the new theme good idea, cheers xolotl and thanks for all the other ideas I seem to remeber thinking that would be a good theme a few months ago I think it may be quite hard though...

So yeh, unless there are any major objections, new theme: EMOTION
