I would but my missus wasn't at all happy that i spent £5 on betting yesterday so i best not, shes gone into save save save mode now that a little one is brewing

I'm interested in joining the OcUK poker tournaments. As there are issues with people paying for tables I have cotacted PokerStars with regards to setting up private freerolls. Would anybody object to hosting with PokerStars if its free?

I think Stars require you to buy in for a min $5. At least that was the case when a mate hosted a few private sit and goes for us. You need 2000 points too iirc.

Just had an email from a member of PokerStars support.

Note that we do not normally offer the ability to run private freerolls to
our players. However, your email has been forwarded to our Marketing team
for their consideration.

Not sure if this is the normal kind of response they give but there is some hope. Will update this thread if I hear anything else

Looking to sign up for online poker, and wonderd if you can direct me to a good site.

I know how to play just never played online.

Thought it was about time i won money online, instead of inhouse from my friends.

The 2 sites I would reccommend are Full Tilt Poker and Pokerstars. Both offer 100% 1st deposit bonus (you have to earn this back) and have good interfaces. I use Pokerstars 99% now though.

Before commiting any money I would try the play money and freerolls to get used to it and see how you get on.
