Poker Idol client is lacking in the hand/tournament history department ... either it is available and usability is crud OR it ain't available at all. If latter, no way would I play real money games.

There was also a question raised on randomness on my table ... if anyone has sufficient details, I'll run the probabilities for ****s and giggles.

Oh and 21% improvement for me, position-wise this week versus last. That's progress ;)
 
Also, I propose that AFKs be kicked using some fair-ish method - slowed hands right at beginning of tournament are probably contributing to the already falling number of attendees. What options does Poker Idol offer for this ?

Well done to BluZiff you did dominate in the end.
Thanks for everyone attending. We had a few randomers appear due to guessing the password so I've removed them. If where one of those let me know.

I propose to get name of the table changed to make it harder for people to simply Google the password.

Also I was thinking about next year, would it be better to offer more incentive for people to fight for the positions by increasing the gap between the points?

The table has been updated and is now in PDF format on the second page.

hand history is available, just hide the chat panel

I played on pkr and saw two royal flushes back to back, randomness is a certainty but if you play enough hands you can start to imagine things, that's my take on it anyway :)
 
Glad to see a good game again guys :) we'll sort it out so that it's different next week to prevent randoms.

AFK'ers is a tricky issue, it changes from client to client. I'm pretty sure there's nothing we can do because if someone pays the money they're entitled to play (even though this is free it follows the same rules). I'll look it up though.

In terms of randomness, of course we are fully audited and tested 100%. I can go through the certificate details if you'd like :)

I mean post tournament rather than during it. I'm a "stats freak" and proud ... love analysing my and others performance to try to both improve my poker game and maintain my maths/stats skills.

Echoing something someone said earlier in thread ... I was getting as stressed as when I play for ~$40 buy-in tournaments, so that says something about what I value my honour in the OCUK poker and wider OCUK communities at ;O)

As I expected. Just wanting to put whoever's mind it was at rest :)

Post tournament history available ? (To improve my game rather than any sort of checking on randomness)

Straight in at 4th, not too bad :) Was good fun, but BluZiff got me in the end!

I'll have to try to keep my Sunday evenings free to keep playing.
