3rd place, which I'm pleased about though the cards were not at all friendly once I reached the last table.
You did pretty well considering the large stacks.
The cards went somewhat downhill for me after the break.

Picked up again towards the end, but 2nd is pretty decent.
Although losing is never fun :p

Thanks.

Well done to you as well, at one point I thought you were going to come back and win the game. :)

I didn't think ahlecks had a 2, with 2 pair on the flop.
That, coupled with an early start tomorrow, meant that the writing was on the wall.

Perhaps if it wasn't so late I wouldn't have played so silly on such an early hand heads-up, but it's all good :)

I'm ****ed, you haven't got any excuse. I'm the best!

I really dislike heads-up Poker (when I play I usually play cash games and run away once I've hit my target (or - as the case usually is - lost to much). I rarely play tourney. I wouldn't have let that go on for very long. I had a few cracking hands like that, pulled in 10k or something by putting dea' out with a similar hand and then winning it like that. It's what poker is though, luck, jammyness, arrogance and maybe a bit of skill!

I've always been a very chatty poker player, be it online, in the casino or with friends. I believe that this truly helps. It's not going to effect good players in casinos but I do think it gives me an edge over poor players (and I'm slightly above poor!) in real life - especially when me and a similar style playing friend are together. We end up just having the table concentrating on the chat instead of the game.

Out of interest, does anyone know of a site that has software that tests your skills? In other words a normal poker game but between you and the computer, something you can drop into anytime?
