Well there positions will be removed and everyone moved up accordingly.

most poker sites those marked as "away" for a certain amount of time get auto removed from tournies.

it might be the case here as well, but there's such a small amount of players it has an actual affect on worthwhile final positions

Yes it does have a big affect and people have made the top 10 by being away
