just go for a single table tournament then
if your after a quick game, look for Turbo/Super Table.
The blinds will go up much quicker, therefore get the action going quicker.

That's horrible.
Played the redtooth finals this weekend and came 204th/217.
Had fun in the casino though, took £25 for food (didn't realise soft drinks were free, drank way too much), stuck a fiver in the roulette machine not realising the wheel was right next to me, and ended up walking off with £140 profit. Made up for a shockingly awful weekend![]()

I was gutted to go second and get £25 instead of £100 but still Player 1 got done!
Hey, i've played a fair bit of poker before with friends and looking to get back into it. Without trawling through the thread whats the best site for play money games?

Am on full tilt now. Up from 1000 to 5000 chips so far. I really dislike some peoples play style with it not being real money though. So many people just call or raise with nothing and push hands into stupid amounts of chips every time because if they lose they can just go refill their chips. I end up having to fold a reasonable hand because ive called them the max preflop and then get nothing on the flop and its getting tedious.

is the redtooth structure still crap ?
Yeah. 5k starting stack, half hour blinds for 1st 2 levels, 25/50 then 50/100 - after an HOUR break after the first hour it jumps to 100/200 and 15 minute levels.. great, thanks for that. Nobody told us the structure, how many got paid, how many made the finals... it was poorly organised. Also had one guy determined to "deal for the table" and managed to deal himself AA, AA, KK, TT 88 and 88, 6 hands out of 7.. he never shuffled them properly once.
Another thing that annoyed me, I had AJ on a A52 flop, I bet 400, he calls. Turn 2, check check. River 6, check.. he bets 400 I call. I ask "do you have a set AGAIN?".. he says yes so I mucked my AJ and he flipped over A6. Ok, it was the winner eventually, but a bit rude to declare a set and turn over top 2.

Why are you playing with play money? It is entirely pointless...
If you really are a complete noob and just want to get used to playing poker etc.. perhaps download something like the iphone poker app and play against some computer opponents for a short period of time - you'll achieve the same goal.
if you fancy a real game we have 1 seat left for the summer 2 day STT that we hold if you remember details![]()
