I just received a letter (and a CD) saying that if I install their software and make a deposit they'll give me $30 and match my deposit (up to $500). I've never had one of these through the post before so I'm not sure if it's legit or a scam.

£50 6 handed touney, fairly short I button raise with 8T, BB ( who cant leave anything checked to him alone ) calls , flop 882 , I know he will push so check, he pushes, I call , he has 77 , 7 on river
over to cash, doing ok for 4hrs + , 99 on button, I make it £6 and BB calls
flop J96, 2 suited, 1 bet 10 he makes it 30 and I call
rag on turn , I bet 40 he calls
J on river which also makes 3 for flush, me 50 , he shoves 120 , I call
he has J6

Just wanted your opinion on full ring vs six max online games. I've always played Full ring but now am taking my poker a bit more seriously I want to know the best direction to go in. I have started watching a few videos at dc and have noticed that a lot relate to 6 max. I like the idea of more action and looser play but when I have tried it in the past I struggled to know where I was in the hand since it is a lot more aggressive than full ring.

I prefer 6max over nit ring and now only play 6max if possible. If I was mass-tabling I think full ring would work better though.
You get to play more hands, you can play a looser style and I think you can get a better read on people as you're more likely to be involved with them in pots.
On the video front, just take the advice but tighten up on any suggested ranges especially in early/middle positions.

I prefer ten handed. I see it as being more money on the table
