Best forward in europe/world? I dunno about that yeah he is ONE of the top players around. But i would rate him higher than Beattie, Beattie has been good but imo ruud is better than him.

Also he did go through quite a sticky patch around the time when we played man utd in the FA Cup and i remember someone here (a man utd fan, cant remember who) wondering if he was a 1 season wonder :eek:

Had to throw in a cheap shot at arsenal as well heh ;)

Raul
Ronaldo
Vieri (you know, dude plays for Inter)
Henry
Shevchenko

players like that.

Beattie wouldn't even come in the top 50 strikers in the world.

Nah Beattie now has two games in hand over Ruud when this Man United v Charlton game has finished. So he has 180 minutes to bag a few more goals, which I think he will against Bolton :)

he's a very intelligent player and gets into those positions.

Nah, Beattie doesn't bother wasting his energy running past static defenders and elbowing them in the face. :p He simply smashes it from 25-30 yards into the top corner. Why put in the effort when your god given ability means you don't have to? :p hehe.

and BTW RUUD IS THE and i mean THE best striker in the world the is knowbody better than him he is THE COMPLETE center forward anybody who cant see that don't know much about football ;)

well if u honstly think shearer or henry are better then thats ur opinion i wouldent swap ruud 4 anybody in the world and like i said its just my opinion

im sure arsenal fans would never swap henry for anyone and newcastle fans wouldnt swap shearer for anyone :)

Bag a Few? he didnt get on the end of a single cross, he was garbage.

Nah its not, Hinch has described Beattie's world beating striking prowess........
and in a match where a player with such "ability" as Beattie would no doubt dance rings around bolton and be thrashing shots in from ALL OVER THE PITCH!!!!!!!!.

shots on target 1
and he was off side for that.
