Hmmm, sounds like a good idea, the 'community' and constant Dust/Dust2 repetition (I hate endless repetition, drives me round the corner with boredom) drove me right off CSS after a few years, before that I used to play for the Milk Bandits clan (we weren't big but we were on Enemy Down, they might still be for all I know), as an intermediate player (I dont think I was that good, but I wasnt a novice - and I hate my wireless for what it did to my connection

).
A decent rotation with some of the lesser played maps, and with a votemap function would be nice, especially if it was decent tickrate so its at least fairly accurate. One of the problems I used to find when playing on a lot of servers rather than just one/two was that due to different tickrates, and accuracy/lag of the server, sometimes you'd almost have to relearn guns each time you changed server, as they could handle so much differently depending on server conditions, which could kinda suck some of the fun out of the game, over an extended period of time.
I'd actually be tempted to play again a bit if this happened, now I'm actually starting to finally lose interest in WoW, aside from raiding (which I've cut down on now too).
If Dust/Dust2/Office were on the map list, I think they should be on map vote only, as after having seen them become the most common maps over the last 2 years, they're usually a complete server turn off for me now. I still sometimes enjoy Office, but Dust1/2 and Office to a lesser degree are so overplayed now its really sucked a lot of the life out the game.
It's been a while now though, so I cant actually remember a lot of the names of maps I used to enjoy, but Im sure people here can suggest a decent rotation, thats not the same old constant dust/dust2/office, perhaps all the official ones, bar the aforementioned overplayed ones, and a few of the better, community recommended ones.
75 tick sounds fine, its high enough rates can be set properly to suit our adsl connections and to avoid a sh** load of bulletlag and dodgy hitboxes, but not so high as its likely to cause issues for the server when its busy.
@ Shimmy, I agree it should be on the server, but only as a vote. 2/3 of all servers out there are Dust servers now and its killed the game to me, and a lot of others I know who used to play. Im not even sure to be 100% honest it should be on the server, as theres hundreds out there for people who just want to play dust.
-Edit
I just remembered that I absolutely loathed cbble (cobble) with a loathing. Hate that map, really really do.
