What about Europa Universalis? Colonisation? Hearts of Iron?

And please don't put down Civ4, that game does not do the original justice. Civ1 and Civ2 were the best games ever on PC if for no other reason then they were years ahead of their time and literally created an entire genre of PC gaming.

That is your opinion, imo Civ4 > Civ > Civ3 > Civ2.
Civ2 was unmanagable, the gfx are too poor to make anything out of it, 1 looks better.

Civ 4 is best with BTS, includes pretty much everything 2 had but with normall gfx wich u can make something out of...
