OcUK Rogues Gallery (2020)

Two that jumped out as being wrong are BrightonBelle and Jenjey. ***.

I corrected LostKat but the other two seem fine. It's spelt how it's spelt on the old rogues.

Why am i sideways?

There you go buddy I have corrected you. I think it's because the original sent photo was rotated. I just uploaded them straight away without rotating lol. oops!

Not sure caring about hurting people's feelings is really that much of a concern, given your blatant disregard for GDPR etc.

Who's feelings am I hurting with GDPR? Everyone who has requested their photo to be removed I have.

If you REALLY think it's going to be that much of a concern I will start it from fresh for the current people who has requested to be on there. Easy enough done but it won't be much of a gallery then until people join in.

EDIT: Tell you what - talk amongst the dons when you are all available and tell me what you would like me to do. I know it's not really anything directly to do with OcUK but I certainly wouldn't want to spoil an image for them so I will put it in all of your hands. That way it wasn't me making that decision. :)

GDPR only applies to businesses :)

So it might be morally grey, legally he's fine!

This is what I thought but I didn't want to say it. Might be easy just to do as I'm told. I'll just implement everything what people ask for ;)

In my opinion you are only re-hosting pictures that people have already given permission to be in the public realm (they uploaded the original photos themselves a few years ago). Carry on as you were :D

I think some of the members not on here any more hence I need to address the concerns of anyone who is currently active. Mods can tell me what they want to happen it's fine.

I would like to address any concerns that people have. I'm not withholding or disagreeing with what people are saying I do understand. I could maybe put a GDPR notice up but then again it's not really a business so I think it's already been stated it possibly doesn't apply.

I will comply with any legal boundaries if this is what it takes to get it kept up there.

It really isn't but sure, think of it like that if you want but you're really very wrong.

I can't be bothered to argue about reasons as clearly OP doesn't care and neither do admins (else the images would have been removed as soon as it was raised in the first page of this thread) or in effect, ocuk as the admins are representatives of the forum which is linked to the company (not just by the hosting).

Can I just refer to the way back machine. (https://archive.org) The way back machine collects data and this is where I got it from. If there was a legal stance I would have though this website would have been hit first. As you know this caches content for websites as history. Soon this site will also be cached. Can you comment on this?

Just for reference so people can see here it is;

Just wondering why dogma is last as they're alphabetical.

I had a _ at the beginning. I will change this to reflect the changes. :)

I do care but because 1 or 2 people say what they think that doesn't mean it's true. If the mods agree to you then this is fine I don't mind but not going to take away something what was fully live couple year back just because the domain had expired. The users originally was OK by the photo uploaded there all I have done is took them from the way back machine. Lets just see either way I really don't mind but if you could link to any article or whatever about this GDPR then I would happily have a read.

Because the pictures are available elsewhere on the web, I only see an issue if the people in the pictures contact you and ask you to remove them and then you don't.

I have already had people asking me to remove them and I have without even questioning it.

Personally though I would have started with a blank slate anyway since many of those members aren't around anymore. :)

If people would like a clean slate this is perfectly fine, either way I actually don't mind. Never thought it would get to a debate like this though. :)

@Delvis

The old domain was never renewed hence why it shut down all of a sudden.

People who didn’t request their information to be removed before it was shut down caused the way back machine to cache data that could never really be removed. I would love to know where this would stand from a legal point of view as at least my requests are been honoured unlike the old non existing sites.

I have an idea.... I’ll prepare the new GDPR update shortly. (Even though I’m not a business or a shop)... This will be fun! :D
