I do care but because 1 or 2 people say what they think that doesn't mean it's true. If the mods agree to you then this is fine I don't mind but not going to take away something what was fully live couple year back just because the domain had expired. The users originally was OK by the photo uploaded there all I have done is took them from the way back machine. Lets just see either way I really don't mind but if you could link to any article or whatever about this GDPR then I would happily have a read.
 
Because the pictures are available elsewhere on the web, I only see an issue if the people in the pictures contact you and ask you to remove them and then you don't.

Otherwise, whatever.

Personally though I would have started with a blank slate anyway since many of those members aren't around anymore. :)

I have already had people asking me to remove them and I have without even questioning it.

If people would like a clean slate this is perfectly fine, either way I actually don't mind. Never thought it would get to a debate like this though. :)

What about when a newspaper publishes a photo of you without your consent, and then several others do it too?

I miss elements of the old days but ultimately ended up leaving here for many years because of tumours with lips.

Has this place changed much? Other than the boards having a much needed update and a succulent blocking system implemented, has ocuk lost its spark?

Oh I didn't say it was better or worse back then. It's just a different place. It's grown :)

There were some utterly bonkers postings back then....GTA & the furry... :D

Perhaps remove people that haven't requested their photos to go up,that way it pleases the Nancie's

As you say, the photos are online already, if they wanted them removed from the old site they would have said already on the old one.

The old domain was never renewed hence why it shut down all of a sudden.

People who didn’t request their information to be removed before it was shut down caused the way back machine to cache data that could never really be removed. I would love to know where this would stand from a legal point of view as at least my requests are been honoured unlike the old non existing sites.

I don't really care for keeping my cards secret so -
I was brain damaged at birth, a troubled child, doctors couldnt really figure out what was wrong with me, suggestions of autism, ADHD, OCD and other things were banded about but nothing stuck. Then when I hit puberty, it mostly became forms of anxiety and depression, and the traits from other mental disorders fizzled away to the point where I am no longer registered as having those disabilities, but from recent therapy sessions there are some signs of psychopathy. So I guess I'm a slightly psychopathic depressed anxious wreck. C-c-c-comboooo! :p

Thought I’d help. :)

Dear user, if you don’t want your original photo to be used then why upload to a bloody gallery in the first place?

Secondly why then give a flying crap if it’s used in a second gallery....

We hope you don’t find out that certain images are now uploaded to a dwarf porn site, if you do, frankly we don’t care. :p
 
UPDATE

It’s come to the decision by the moderators and GDPRmoaners that all photos that where on the old site are now to be nuked. (I’m personally sorry about this for whoever liked to look at old times), I know there’s a few of you!

I would like to now reiterate to everyone that under GDPR (or so people have said!) your image is also been stored on the way back machine which isn’t new news.

This can be located here. You will need to contact them to have this removed. This site has nothing to do with me and this is where the photos where obtained on it’s public knowledge. You can go back even further if you wish the the even older rogue galleries, however I won’t link them here. If you wish you can find them yourself. :)

Keep your eyes open for the cleanup.
 
UPDATE

Action completed. All photos are now removed that where on the previous OcUK Rogues Gallery. If I have accidentally removed you and you would like to still be up there then please get in touch or if I have missed you off the deletion schedule.
