OCUK Rolling Road Day 11 @ Eurospec (Guildford) - Sat 19th March 2011

They are, but I know I don't want some crappy take away pizza in a garage, I'll be going to a pub to enjoy sitting down, eating a decent meal with a nice cold drink.

So whats happening then, half staying to eat pizza and half going to a pub?

If going to a pub is there a venue as a pub is certainly my preferred option. :)

The Surrey pub, about 5 minute drive from Eurospec has parking for about 50-60 cars (round the back of the pub on the photo)

Not sure how I forgot about that place!

I'm not fussed whether we go to a pub or not tbh, the nature of the meet means it's not quite as easy to just do the usual "meet > hoon > food > hoon > chat" arrangement of the northern / southern meets IMHO

I just wondered if each dyno run was using a different ecu or map, or other mod? otherwise the result would be the same?

Nope all the same, just good to see results from different dyno's. Not like it cost much especially considering the fuel getting their and back will cost more anyway.

The Surrey is good, less than 30 second drive from my house!

They do deals if I remember correctly, burger and a drink for something like £5/£6. Food all cooked on the site and been there for lunch/dinner before and never been let down.

Indoor seating for food is max 20 though, outside more.

If anyone of you fancies going to the pub, then do so. I am not arranging for such a large group to go to a pub, the drive there will not really be a hoon, and has the potential to be dangerous with such a large amount of cars.

I will be staying on site all day until the runs are completed, then I will worry about hoons, more food etc if I'm still hungry and people want to go for a blast :)

We shall just see what happens on the day, people will likely break off into groups anyway and say go to a pub. Some are happy to stand/sit around at Eurospec whilst others will prefer a sit down in a warm pub with food.

As Kosta has said, no planning, we are all grown adults and will do what we want to do.
