Anyway, I might have to pull out completely. My car needs too much work doing to it, and I've had an offer of help from a friend (he has air compressors and what not, which will make my life so much easier).

I need to get the sump gasket and oil filter changed ASAP to see where the rest of the fluid is coming from.
 
i just installed my defis, a new forced induction K&N air filter and some other goodies, im hoping my carbon fibre bits turn up in time too :D

ill post some pics of my new bolt on goodies shortly just at work atm :(

Looking forward to this! My car is pretty much 95% ready. There is still a bit of tweaking to do on the ignition timing and I want to change the plugs to a cooler range - but I'm not going to have time to do that before the RR. I'm leaving the clutch for now - by the time of the next RR though I should be completely tweaked and up and running, and no doubt thinking of new mods too :rolleyes: :p I'm still running though don't worry - it'll be interesting to see the results. Looking forward to seeing people again too :)

Never get a job where you spend most of your life abroad - you end up having no time to live your life :/

Best pull me off the list. I dont think I can get my boost leak fixed this week. Or if I can, it will be cutting it fine. Still intend to come to spectate and will run if you need the numbers.

As it is at the moment hopefully between 180-190. However it's not perfect at the moment, however it's still a huge improvement and definitely bigger smiles! :D
 
I need to be removed from the list I'm afraid, there is no way I will be able to attend this anymore, work have been a bit arsey with me over asking for a particular day off :mad:
 
Is anyone coming from the Bournemouth area who would be able to do me a big favour and pickup some Rover parts for me, the blokes right near Bournemouth he said, from a car thats being broken, bit far to travel for them!

Free drink(s) at the pub if you do ;)

I'm gonna have to be removed from the list because a) I'm in work that afternoon and can't afford to turn it down and b) Cash is tight right now, because I haven't had much work and I need front discs and pads.

I just can't afford or justify a £50 day out! :(
 
I should still be there

I was having athink of how to get down, I was initially gonna drive down on the friday during the day and sleep over for the moning. But then i though of driving down through the night to arrive for 9 at the place.

Is anyone else staying in a hotel for this ?
 
I still plan to be there however I may need to scrounge a lift from somebody passing Bristol as I haven't heard anything from the insurance company yet. Hopefully they'll sort out my hire car this week but just in case they don't I thought I'd mention it.

If the guy thats selling the bits can get to somewhere a bit easier for me, i don't mind shooting down :)
