A terrible GPU launch, TERRIBLE pricing for what is clearly a cut down GPU which should NEVER be named a 7800XT, this is NOT the replacement to the 6800XT, that GPU already launched, its called the 7900XT and was overpriced to scam people for more money....

AMDs design, performance and execution FAILED with RDNA3, but they decided to be GREEDY and overprice everything to make it even more obvious, jesus....

And what is with the overpriced 7700XT for £450 LOL, OCUK?, even with 20% vat and fair exchange rate thats clearly a hiked price....

This generation needs to be taken out back and have 2 slugs put in the back of its head....Just put it out of its misery already!

That's a great card, they should have called it 7800 non XT to help manage expectations but its slightly faster and MUCH cheaper than its predecessor so that's a win.

Its not cut down, RDNA32 tops out at 60CU. It's a little faster than a 6800XT and 150 less, how is that not good?

Cut down, as in CUT DOWN from what the true 7800XT should be....

Come on, read into it a bit better.

To address your last part, you must be a megga AMD fanboi, zero progress in almost 3 years, yeah, sounds good to me...... its not priced less, its LESS card sold for less, it has FAR less CUs, so costs them less. So no, you are not "saving money", you are getting less for similar money, you truly have no clue about how economics of these products works do you?..

I'd expect performance uplift to come with that power drawn reduction but as has already been said, this is more like a 6700XT replacement. The true 6800XT replacement is the 7900XT. But we all know what shenanigans AMD and Nvidia have been playing at.

little faster after 3 years ? , is £150 that great ? pretty much tells you the 7900xt should have been the 7800xt
yes its better option than what Nvidia are offering but is that even difficult when nvidia dont seem to care ?
