Group Three's completely up in the air at the moment. As soon as all of the matches are finished, or we hit saturday, i'll post the quarter-final matchups.

Whoever wins out of scott and Minato willl have 3 points, matching Nerusy. So there'll be one playoff match to decide who gets top spot in that group.

In your group, if cHk4 beats nex20 then we'd have a 3 way playoff. Most sensible way would seem to be that each of you would play one game against each other player until a clear first/second is decided.

That does make sense. Whether it's minato or scott, if they are unable to play their playoff match this weekend then I'll give automatic placement based on the previous match already played as you said. As you say it's important to get the placement right :)

Ok, the way it's going to work is as follows:

Group 2 Playoffs!!!!!

For each of the three playoff matchups, the winner of the previous match played between the two players selects any map from the 1v1 ladder maps. This will remain BO1, as before.

This gives one of two results. Either each player wins a game each, in which case it's a tie so we start over. The other result would be that one player wins 2 games, one wins a single game and one wins no games at all. In this case we have our final standings and the playoffs end.

One final rule. When the matches are starting, post in the thread so we can obs the carnage :D

ASAP. I'll publish the matchups once I know what the standings are. Looks like next week is a bit troublesome for some players.

I'd like for people to set days/times for their quarter-finals and have them posted in the thread. That way people who want to can obs the matches and if scott's up for it we can have a stream running :cool:
 
1/4 finals are taking place ASAP really.

I'd ask that for the finals, people arrange a time for their match in the thread, so that people who want to obs can make sure they're online at the right time :)

Might be nice to do some of the 1/4 finals at the same time :)

We have 3 games left in our group stage. nex20 vs cHk4 for the qualifier, Skillmister vs bsoltan in group 4 and Sparky__H vs booyaka in group 1.

Well done to Group 3 for finishing all of their matches :D

There most certainly will be another tourney :cool:. In the meantime, feel free to join in obsing the remaining quarter-finals up to the grand final!

Looking forward to the next quarter, still need a deciding match between nex20 and cHk4!

So the next one we'll probably see is Kar vs RobHu in a PvP spectacular ;)

We need to get nex20 (Sadform) vs cHk4 (Tashohnie) done ASAP guys. Let's finish off this group stage and start hitting some more quarter finals :cool:

If we dont get it done by saturday evening, I'll have to call the group stage over and give Milky a bye into the semis. Don't give Milky an easy ride :p

Would be nice, but it's near impossible to find a day where everyone's online :(

Could restrict it to 16 players and just have a RO16 upwards, but I'd rather get as many people who want to play in as possible.


Any chance of Rob and Kar playing their quarter final today? :cool:
 
Ladies and gentlemen, we have our quarter finals :cool:. IIRC, milky said he would rather play tihs weekend if possible.


If the other players are available tonight (Milky/cHk4/Blessed/Minato) we could possibly have a great evening of matches :)
