I have a [stupid] question.

This is my first year doing this and I got my victim and Elfster sent me the email containing the name of the person I was paired with. Let's, for example, say that my victim is ForumMember25. If we're paired up, does that mean ForumMember25 have me as their victim, meaning that we both know that we're each others secret santa? Doesn't that defeat the purpose of a secret santa thingy?

Totally random, you could get your victim as your SS, but if you did, its via sheer randomness, no-one knows!!

If you log into Elfster, it will tell you who your SS person is, but next to it, it will have a box saying who the person who has you, it should say secret pal.

Ah, cheers. I didn't notice that before.

how do I check if my address is the correct one on elfster?

^^ go to Elfster and click on settings (top right), it shows your address there and lets you edit it
