Just noticed that any user can ask any user a secret question. I assumed you could only ask your own SS an anonymous question...

Excellent way to lull other peoples SS into expecting something nice :p Not that mean, though.

i signed up at the last minute so it was less than 48hrs after sign up that i added a few things to my wishlist

Having already got something Elfster now informs me I've a new (read different) SS?

No, my bad - looks like I'll be sending two gifts this year really should read elfter messages and not just, guess based on the subject title :(
Drop me your address in trust MisChief and I'll send you my 'wasted stalking time' present. I'm sure you could put it to good use - unwrapping thread rules will apply

I have NO IDEA what to get my SS :eek:

Having tried to find recent posts on here and looking of FB for my SS and drawn a blank I am struggling

The only thing I have figured out is that they like a drink and seem to like themselves a lot...A mirrored whiskey glass maybe?

some send direct some send to themselves then send on to their victim. up to the santa really.

you can ask your victim some questions but this relies on them checking elfster to see if they want to give more away. I've asked some questions but my guy is a bit silent. might have to get them something i would like and hope they like it too! :p

Not much you can do other than what Derek suggested. If they don't answer your questions on Elfster you'll just have to get them something and hope they like it.

Had a skim through the 2011/12 unwrap threads for ideas a while ago. Chocolate/sweets and little toys/gadgets always seem to be a safe bet if you don't know what else to buy. Also OcUK mugs.

So you thought you had to pick a random forum member to buy a pressie for? :D I'm not participating this year so I'd feel bad if I get a pressie for doing nothing (even though I did joke about it in my previous post :o) I'll gladly accept it though if it's going to waste anyway! Otherwise, if you can turn it into a gift for someone else then you should do that instead :)
