It is fair enough though, you did say to everyone to book it and they did and you changed the camp site. :p

I dont see why theres any fuss , canceling your ticket is a pretty easy process, i wouldent have thought whittlebury would have evan banked it yet.

If people want to be difficult its up to them :) Im not here to beg

If its anything like last year people will have loads of bottles left over.

Last year I think I left with more bottles then what I took.

Thats cos your a big girl ;) :p

Andy , just come if you get a lift down its going to cut out your petrol costs then all you will have to pay for is a bit of food and drink.

Sam

No one is having any of my beer , im planning on drinking every last bottle ;) :p

Nah im only kidding , i can spare a few for a good cause

Thanks very much for the offer mate, but it's not the petrol that I can't afford, it's the rest of it. It'll cost me another £60-£80 on top of the fuel for the weekend, and I'm afraid I just don't have it. :(

Payday in 2 weeks though so I'll see how I do then, but it's not looking good tbh. :(

How will it cost you £80

Food for friday night - £10
Drinks for weekend - £15 AT MOST
Pub Saturday night - £25

=

So thats £50 , thats bloody cheap far cheaper than £80 and if your really broke theres no need to spend nearly as much you could do it

Food for friday night - £10
Drinks for weekend - £6 2 x 4 cans fosters
Pub - £15 - £7.50 for your meal and £7.50 for few pints

=

£31

Its not all about spending money mate its about being with the lads enjoying yourself :) Seems a bit silly not to come for the sake of £30 / £50 quid :) when you could save that quite easily over the coming month

Anyway mate ill leave it up to you

Ok Andy, it really is up to you. If you really wanted to come you would save the money ( anyone could ) If the trip was costing a couple of hundred it would be diffrent ;).

But as i said before if you cant make it theres allways another year i suppose :)

Just spoke to Whittlebury Campsite and have been told they do not do refunds , looks like I'll be there for the weekend :(

Why dont you just cancel the cheuqe if it hasnt cleared :)

= nothing they can do :)

Sam

I cant belive how many people cant afford so little money. Im poor , i spend £1000s on my car BUT i can allways find 50 quid.

From what ive seen of andy i like him, seems to be a cracking chap :) But oviousley making the meet isnt on his list of prioritys because if it was he would come. FULL STOP.

For example F355 dosent have a job, which therefor meens no income BUT hes managing to get together £100 for the trip.

Annnnyway if andy cant make it andy cant make it, no point going over and over the same thing.

Roll on may 5th/6th/7th :D

Sam

Following a photocall outside the prestigious Royal Automobile Club in Pall Mall, an exclusive field of up to 50 stunning supercars will drive an 80 mile non-motorway route to Silverstone, before completing a lap of honour around the world famous Grand Prix circuit to signal the official opening of a breathtaking weekend of top motorsport action.

In addition, one supercar from the entry will be selected by the organisers to lead the assembly out of London, and transfer the historic Royal Automobile Tourist Trophy to Silverstone, where it will be awarded on Sunday 7 May to the winners of the first round of the 2006 FIA GT Championship.

The Silverstone Supercar Tour will be open to a limited number of 21st Century supercars, to fit in with the general theme of the Silverstone Supercar Showdown which, in addition to hosting Britain’s only round of the FIA GT Championship for The Royal Automobile Club Tourist Trophy, will also feature races from Ferrari, Maserati and GT3.

Throughout the weekend there will also be a festival style display of supercars from manufacturers and owners clubs, supported by an array of family entertainment including air displays, fun-fair and simulators. Entry to the Silverstone Supercar Tour will cost £195 per car including driver and passenger, which includes breakfast at The Royal Automobile Club, a pre-start photocall on Pall Mall, refreshments en route, a three day guest pass for the Silverstone Supercar Showdown, participation in the official opening parade lap, access to an exclusive Silverstone Tour parking enclosure in the centre of the circuit, and many other extras.

Organisers are now inviting Supercar owners, interested in being a part on the Tour and official opening ceremony, to complete and submit an Entry Form.
