Getting some for my Ducky Zero (with MX-Browns) - I was quite disappointed that the Browns were as loud as they were, as they're supposedly one of the quieter MX switches! Can't imagine louder switches, but to be honest they're similar volume to rubber domes...
My problem is using rubber domed all day (work) so I'm too used to many years of bottoming out keys so I naturally do it at home on my mech board, even though I don't need to!
correct. they also reduce the throw of each key which is ideal because when typing for long periods of time it reduces fatigue.
I must say as well after using my board at home this week [not used my keyboard for over three months as its been in storage] using the board at work with the o rings has actually made my typing lighter and i am not bottoming out hardly any key presses.
been meaning to get some of these for a while. My Blues are rather noisy. Especially late at night. I did do some searching for them a while back, but never got round to it. made a purchase. .
Ordered some for my Osmium It annoys my friends over the mic more than it does for me
The one thing that annoys me about the osmium is the USB 3.0 port is upside down, I always forget and I end up shoving devices in the wrong way. Grrr
Just joking Rich, I know you're really working on a watercooled keyboard range
I do find it a bit mad though that manufacturers are charging bonkers money for a mech keyboard which is annoying loud and clicky. Why haven't any of them started bundling or fitting the o-rings with their keyboards as a product/brand differentiator?
Hmmm... I've got Reds on mine and I certainly bottom out the key presses. Wouldn't mind losing some of the click- will the feel be too soft though with the rings?
