Whats the Q3 like as a sim headset is it as good as something like the HP Reverb G2?

I'm very satisfied with mine but can only compare with headsets I've had before (CV1 and Quest2)
However, out of the box, the Q3 is pretty horrible for comfort and audio. Replacement headstrap, facial interface and audio are a must.

Yea for sure, which headstrap are you using? I have the official extended battery strap and it's rubbish.

I'm using the AMVR head strap and interface (had good results with the Q2 version too so stuck with them)

Replacement headstrap definately..
Facial interface.. that depends on the headstrap you get, if you get a halo style strap then the original facial interface is not as big an issue..
Audio, i've never had any issues with the Q3 basic audio.. for VR simming..

No, I bought a battery separately then 3d-printed a mount for it.

keep calm, don't worry about what's behind you, keep on track and you'll be fine. Remember it's so difficult for the person behind you to see, let alone overtake.
