OcUK Work Exp.?

doubt it
most places don't and its not like a realy interesting place to do work exp (its is only a shop tbh)

Not even that. A week spent packing stuff into boxes is hardly going to look good on the CV, or give you life changing experience, is it?

true but i dont think work exp is designed to give us a life changing experience.
half of the places of this list arnt exactly mind blowingly good anyway....

im open to suggestions of places where to go too btw :)

Most work experience is crap unless you have a skill you can show off, like making macros in Word. A mate did this on his work experience and they learnt loads from him lol

Try purple shirt place, it will at least be more interesting than a mail order store, you can at least have some comedy and share the stories with us.

I did work experiance at Rutherford Appleton Laboratories in Oxfordshire in year nine at school. I think that combined with my dad's interest in physics is the reason why im now on a physics degree. Really interesting stuff.

Believe me when I say this:
Apply to Icelands Frozen Foods!

I really mean it! It was fun for me. Going up the stock room not doing anything. Opening boxes of skittles with my superviser. Opening various sweeties, sandwiches and drinks :D

I'd love to go back there!

Tip: nobody wants a work experience kid. Unless you can get in where a relative or friend works, find an excuse and don't bother. When you've finished your GCSE's no one will give a **** whether you've worked in a bakery for a week or not :)
