OCUk had a "recruitment evening" a couple of days ago. It was advertised in The Sentinel in the computers section.

Must be looking for perm staff rather than work experience.

i did my work experience in a Secondary School, with the IT technicians not only was it 2 weeks, but they asked me back for all of the summer holidays

Learnt quite a lot!

i did work experience in a radiography (X-ray) dept at a local hospital.

that was quite interesting for a week.

don't much see the point of doing work exp in a shop.
