OcUK X1950Pro 512MB... D.O.A

I'm running the 1950 pro with a "NO NAME" 400w psu for the last 6 months with no issue's. That includes watercooling, conroe 6400 @ 2.5, 3gig of ram, 3 sata drives, fans and dvd, so I don't think it's your psu.

Judging from this review:
http://www.3dvelocity.com/reviews/seasonics12/s12-4.htm

It doesn't seem to like going over 16.68 amps. That could be the killer for you. Can you borrow a friends PSU if one of them has a better one then yours?

Maybe take it into a computer repair shop and ask them if they could plug it in and test it before you RMA it. If you RMA a working product you get charged for postage and a £10 fine.

i agree with the above on the power front. My GT is running fine on my 380w Enermax coolergiant. machine spec in sig.

A 430w should be enough easily i would have thought....very odd

The PSU should be fine. I'm running an overclocked Q6600, overclocked GTX, 4 HDD's, watercooling and four 120mm fans and I'm drawing 420W from the socket full load.

The pro doesnt draw a lot of power, the psu would have to be dying or qtec to have a problem
