Charlie thread?

Hmmm.. where to start.

One of the forum members here (I wont mention him.. if you want to go ahead, but I'm going to be nice to the poor chap), copied and pasted a whole MSN chat that he'd had with this person, charlie, thinking he was in with a chance with her. Almost everyone, except the unnamed person, who looked at it was convinced that the 'her' was actually 'he'.

Poor kiddie, the saga went on for a while before all of a sudden he pronounced to the world something along the lines of "Oh My GOD! I've been chatting up a guy!" There was also a reference to having his lemons played with.....

u gonna ban him yes ?

:p :D

Can't ban me for the truth. I'm a friend of the original owner Pete and still talk to him. Pete is one of the only computer people who I can talk to on the same level and he never spoke down to people. From the day Millennium opened I was in the shop at least 3 days a week buying parts and it also became a meeting place for other saddo's. Pete even had a coffee machine put in because there was so many saddo's in there. Pete also helped another bloke named Vin who started VIN Computing. Later Pete and Vin helped one of my students out to start PC 2000 in Burton. Tony bought PC 2000 eventually and Vin bought Vin Computing eventually leaving Pete on his own. Pete's now into Kit cars and just put some of his money into ornamental garden things or something.

There are two sides to every story but the bits about the three seperate business units on IMEX Business Park are true. The bit about the Celeron 300's are true and that was the start of the OVERCLOCKING business. From there nearly every chip that came in could be overclocked in some way. He made some bad decisions like buying a load of touch screen monitors he couldn't sell. He then moved to Unit 40 where the business really took off when Spie joined.

I really don't know anything about Spie and Pete has never spoke about him.

And thats the truth your honour.

This thread deserves to be stickied already and we havnt even got the history yet!
Certianly brought a smile to my face the night before i go back to college :D
