Wait a couple of weeks Deuse, they've been told they should try and get rid of their stock before the 28th Feb. So that probably includes the OCZ DDR2 PC2-8500C5 Dual Channel.
They won't just drop it instantly because it's probably their usual best seller. So wait until last minute to maximise profits then drop it with a couple of days to go
Not a chance, all high-end DDR2 is no longer in production, prices are now only going up and as far as were concerned we have no reason to sell our stock of cheap, we have enough stock to take us too May/June after which time high-end DDR2 shall no longer exist and any that does will be even more expensive than it is now.
Who has been told to get rid of stock by 28th February? If you mean OCZ, I've just purchased 2/3rd of their remaining inventry and they had no DDR2 1066MHz to buy, we can keep the stock for as long as we need as stock like this is an actual investment.
